The Sheet Metal Mechanic will have at least 4 months of experience and the ability to perform basic tasks alone. At various levels, the employee may be required to make field installations without direct supervision, cut offsets and read mechanical prints and generate sketches. At higher levels, the employee will be able to instruct others, demonstrate ability to understand all construction prints and use a ductulator as well as pressure test dust.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Install all types of duct, including hangers and other duct accessories. Measure and cut field offsets. Ability to read and understand prints and drawings. Higher experience level candidates should understand all construction prints, ductulator and pressure testing.
Introductory level - Starts at $15.00 hourly; Higher Skill Level - Starts at $19.00 hourly
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
