The applicant will understand basic refrigeration cycle to include: how each component works, refrigeration recovery, refrigeration evacuation, and refrigeration charging. Must be able to troubleshoot basic electrical circuits. Understand basic heating cycle to include: identifying components in heating systems, understand how each component works, diagnose problems in the heating system using a gas pressure test and other devices for routine maintenance. Must be able to braze and solder.
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.
